i3-Technologies made no fewer than 250 iMO-LEARNs available to the Flemish Parliament. The intention was to show how schools can organize themselves in a flexible way that is also ergonomic and dynamic.

All advantages at a glance
During the workshops, the practical benefits of the iMO-LEARN quickly became clear to the participants. If they had to move to another room between sessions, they could simply take the cubes with them. With their light weight, they are easy to move, allowing (class) setups to be adapted quickly. Moreover, it doesn't hurt to drop the cubes, because they can take a beating.
Besides their practical advantages, they also provide movement activities to encourage children and adults to exercise. They make lessons or teambuilding sessions a lot more interactive and attractive. On 'Smart School Day' teachers were introduced to different activities that are suitable for both children and adults.
Teambuilding
iMO-LEARN can be used to warm up a teambuilding session. The participants are divided into groups and asked to each stand on a block. When all participants are on the blocks, they should try to turn the blocks over to a side of their choice. However, they must remain on top of the blocks. Standing close to each other and working together is the message.
Drumming
This activity is also mainly meant to warm up a teambuilding session. All participants stand on the cubes. Some people spread out in the room and each beat their own rhythm. What rhythm do the participants follow? Or do they start beating their own rhythm? With this exercise you can get to know someone's character in a simple way.
In my opinion...
The iMO-LEARN can be used to indicate your point of view towards a certain theorem. If you agree with the theorem, you have to stand on the block. If you don't agree, you have to sit on the block. lf there are more points of view, you have to turn the block to a certain color. Then the participants have to defend their opinion.
Speed data
The iMO-LEARNs are set up in a dialogue circle consisting of two different groups. One half of the participants is in the inner circle which is directed outwards and the other half is in the outer circle which is directed inwards. The persons in the outer circle have to move on, so that each time they sit opposite another person in the inner circle. The goal is to start a dialogue with the person opposite you.
Building constructions
For each group the participants receive a building map with a drawing of a construction. They try to recreate this (taking into account the number of blocks and the dots on the blocks). They have to follow the right steps to build a solid construction and discuss with each other which construction they use.
Conclusion
These examples show that the movement exercises of the iMO-LEARN are not only suitable for children, but also for adults. The exercises can be filled in freely, so that they are fully compatible with any group. The same goes for the arrangement of the iMO-LEARN's, which can be adapted according to the group or the space.
iMO-LEARN makes any environment flexible.
